Kenya

hi agen, rigth im sat here, listening to Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly’s new album, which u should all get by the way (buy it and pay Sam his money not download it of ‘limewhier’. dont get me started) any why im sat here listening to it on mi PS3 and he visual player is set to the eath. im just looking at this beasutiful uneque planet we live on its just spectakular. the planet rotats and i see kenya.

Last sumer i had the best experience of my life, i had the oppotunity to visit Kenya. ive always wonted to visit Africa so i jumped at the chance to go. thankfully i got a place on the trip and asfter about a year of planning saving and gettign ready i finaly got there.

thinking about my trip there gives me a smile and picks me up when im down. apart from being the best holiday i have ever been on, it tought me some lessons. mostly about how material goods arnt the most important thing in life, and how to be good to your naibor no matter who they are. where we stayed there was a small massi village near by, on the first day we vissited it, the people of that village will always be very speshal to me. they were amazingly eager to sing and dance for us, lol we responded in kind and sang the”hokey koky” and “amarillow”. the group split in to smaller groups and went in to the little huts, they were pitch black twice as hot as out side and full of thick smoke from the fire. when we entered there was a woman sat next to the fire with a small child rounder her. she offered us seats.there was nuthing in there huts by this i mean the bear esenshals, a lighter, a few cupps and cow hide mats to sleep on, the beds which we sat on was bearly big enough for me and im quite small. even though these people had bearly enogh money for them selvs never mind a load of westerners. they still offered us tea, this was the best cupper ive had, it had a huge amount of suger in it i cant explan how much it had. this woman was so hosplital, through are interpreter we aked each other questions about life and england and africa, she was amazed and lafed out load when she heard that the woman who was with us only had 1 child “wot if she dies?” the african woman asked. it was this that showd me how different are lives were. it really did amaze me how some one with so little could offer so much. think, if a foren person came to your home town would u bring them into your house offer then a drink and have a conversation? no few in any other place would.

we had bellons for the children, they loved em. and were sceared when we blew one up and let it go “pppphhhhwwwwww” and fly away lol. they also r amazingly cheeky, if they had one they hide it behind there back (in more or less plain sight) and ask for another.

another thign was how little they had and how happy they were, both the children and the aldults were increadly happy people. singing dancing and smiling ( and laffinf at mvery heary legs). i dont mean to brag but i have a laptop, tv Ps3 sky wifi + lanline PSP and loaof CD and DVDs. being in africa made me think how much of this do i atchually need? how much of this is asenshal to my life? how much of this do i need to survive? the massi people had just enough to live and they were happy probebly happyer than me.

there some much more that i wont to writ about Kenya all of the above hapd in the first day of my visit.

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly reminds me of Kenay, and gives me the mose amazing feeling.

i now realis how much i really have and how its only chance that i was born in the Uk and there for have all the chances and oppertunitis. so yes, if u ever have the chance to visit a place like kenya do so, if u dont ull regrt it for the rest of you life.
